Frank Spector is the third generation of lawyers in his family. He is dedicated to representing those who have been injured with compassion and understanding.
He is licensed to practice law in Maryland and in the District of Columbia.
For over 25 years, he has handled all types of medical malpractice cases including brain damage, child injuries, erb’s palsy, cerebral palsy, wrongful death, surgical error, infectious disease, orthopedic injuries, delays in diagnosis, and catastrophic injuries. Frank also has experience in complicated business and contract litigation. He represented over 400 Dr. Levy patients in the $190 million dollar recovery against Johns Hopkins.
He is listed in Maryland SuperLawyer Magazine for Medical Malpractice. His AVVO rating is 10 out of 10.
Frank is a certified mediator in the Circuits Courts. He helps parties resolve their disputes in a wide variety of matters including personal injury, contracts, and business conflicts. He is available for private mediation upon request.
Frank is a 1984 graduate of McDonogh School. He attended college at Duke University from 1984-1988 and earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law (with honors) in 1991. He is a benefactor of the law school.
He has lectured extensively to other lawyers in Maryland and across the country on topics related to trial law, law firm marketing and legal ethics. He has been asked to speak to lawyers from the Maryland State Bar Association, The Baltimore City Bar Association, the Maryland Association For Justice, and the American Association For Justice.
He currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Maryland Association for Justice.
Frank was the former chairperson of the Personal Injury Committee of the Baltimore City Bar Association and is a Bar Foundation Fellow.
He is active in his community and volunteers his time to charitable causes such as Ronald McDonald House, The Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, the Jewish National Fund and the Baltimore Jewish Council.
Frank is the Immediate Past President of the Maryland Jewish National Fund.
He is the Co-Chair of the Government Relations Committee of the Baltimore Jewish Council.
His wife is also a lawyer. She is a former Public Defender and is now the Deputy Director For Crime Control and Prevention in the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office.
They live with their family in Baltimore City.
